Action Corps Lead Organizers

Alice Reznickova is a PhD candidate in Environment and Resources at the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin. Her research focuses on local food, food access and social justice. After working on a project about food deserts, she decided to get out of her misanthropic comfort zone and join other Oxfam organizers. When not doing research or running around in an Oxfam shirt collecting signatures, Alice is biking around Madison and trying new IPAs.

Yolibeth (Yoli) Rangel-Fitzgibbon is originally from Venezuela; she earned her PhD in Plant Pathology at the University of Wisconsin. She is the Program Director for an afterschool program for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Growing up in Venezuela, Yoli realized the importance of support for small local farmers - that is why she decided to volunteer for Oxfam. Yoli enjoys spending time with her family, gardening (she has chickens too!), margaritas and dancing.

Do you volunteer for Oxfam? Tell us your story!
